jet ski storage

Personally, I prefer Seafoam for winter storage of my PWCs.

I have a 2002 GTX 4-Tec with a 1,500 cc engine. This is a closed loop 4 stroke, only open loop cooling systems can/need to be flushed (such as my 1996 GTX).

To winterize my 2002 GTX 4-Tec, I do the following:

Add Seafoam to the gas...it is a good idea to have a full tank to prevent moisture accumulation.
Remove the battery and place it on a battery tender.
Inspect the PWC (hoses, engine, hull) note anything that might need to be replaced or repaired.
Clean the PWC thoroughly and wax, if necessary.
Put Armour All on the seats.

I do flush the cooling system of the 1996 GTX with propylene glycol.
