I am looking to replace the balusters in my foyer staircase. Thinking of black metal baluster to replace the 1" square oak ones. Anyone have a recommendation? Thanks

Rick Thieme works for Middleton; so he is out.
Noah Smith used to work for Interlakes, but I think he changed employer. Robitaille would be my other choice. You would need to call Middleton (603-279-7911) to get his contact information. I know that each of those three can do them very well. |

Total of 77 balusters including loft and up and down stair case. Style is black, half inch metal - alternate a twist and twist with a basket

Would highly recommend Katco Stairways, (www.katcostairs.com), out of Hampstead, NH. He does custom stairways, rails, balusters, etc. We actually went the opposite of you and got rid of wrought iron for traditional cherry rails and balusters. It came out amazing. Note that when we used him about a year and a half ago, it was about a 4 month wait from quote to install....he was that busy.
