There are plenty of submarines on the lake already! When we had a place there we kept ours moored outside of the Southdown, it was a nice setup with a micro-nuke reactor for power, so we also never needed to buy gas.

There are lots of private submarines around, you just never see them under the water. Not sure if the Submarine Club of NH still has their annual get together on the lake, but if they do you should check it out. Or invite your wife out to watch the submarine races, they are lots of fun.
