Belknap County owned Gunstock is known for its view of Lake Winnipesaukee, and State of NH owned Cannon Mt is known for its steep slopes and the large, nearby Cannon cliffs which used to be home to the Old Man on the Mountain.

If you are 62 years or older, you can buy a senior pass for $20 a year that will let you visit most of the national parks in the United States. For $80, you can get a lifetime pass. You can bring up to three additional adults who get in for free as well.
My son-in-law‘s father has had one of these passes for many years and they have seen so many national parks, it is amazing! Some parks even offer discounts on different amenities, like camping. If you’re younger than 62, it will cost a little bit more. Two of my grandchildren did the fourth grade pass and really enjoyed it. |
