Oh, I'm back from Italy...have been commuting to work in Dover all week. Here was the frosty lake this morning!

This borders on being rude and inconsiderate of the two boats that collided off the tip of Bear Island, November, not so long ago. Suggest you not reply, just move on to something else. Thank you.

Sorry Descant… but what Steve and Tis were discussing is so far removed from what you brought up it’s incomprehensible…Really??

I love Steve’s post as well as Tis and there was never no ill will here whatsoever!

Count me as #3 that was wondering. They were making good natured fun of themselves/each other, no reference to anything more than that.

I was wondering where that came from as well...I fall into that late season moron category as well. Boat usually is in the water until end of November, if not December.

One of the fall boating things I really enjoy is that everything sounds different. The way sound carries over the water, the way the engine sounds, are noticeably different from hot mid summer. I don't know what it is, maybe the dry air instead of humid, but I've noticed it since I was a kid.
