Default Tea Garden, Concord

I realize this place is in Concord, but it's our go-to place anytime we're traveling back home. The Tea Garden is located on Main Street in Concord next to the Holiday Inn downtown. Easy 4 minutes off exits 15W or 14 from Rt93. I've traveled extensively to China, and found the hot-and-sour soup at Tea Garden to be the absolute best I've tasted. Very reasonably priced menu with very authentic taste.
Regarding local lakes region Asian cuisine, Green Ginger would also be our choice.

Thanks Dan. We tried China Bistro last week, it was decent. I will say their beef teriyaki was excellent. It was worth keeping on my list.

I am very familiar with Saigon, I lived in Dover for many years and still work down here. They have great beef teriyaki as well, the rest has been so-so lately. Lots of back stories with that place, covid took its toll on them. They aren't expecting to reopen the dining room, staying takeout only. Short on help and some other issues I have heard. Jenny is still getting by though.

Oriental Delight in Dover is my choice down here.

if you want to drive just a little further south, Szechuan Taste in Exeter has been our go-to for years!

I have enjoyed IKKO dover on Saturday (or is it Sunday) sushi specials (affordable, used to be)
. How's the sushi at Oriental Delight?

I hear the sushi is very good. I don't eat sushi often so I can't really speak from experience, just what I have heard from people I am dining with.

Last night we ventured over to Green Ginger in Tilton.

The food was very good (although I am just getting over covid and I don't have all my taste and smell back yet). Portions were odd, some larger than expected but most were smaller. The pupu for two looked like a 1 person serving. The lo-mein was small but priced less than I see elsewhere. The beef teriyaki was great, so were the other items we tried. And we tried a lot...

The scorpion bowl was a waste. Premade, poured from a gallon jug and served in a large glass, it looked more like a margarita.

I've never eaten in dining area, just take out which I've enjoyed.
