I was on a freight train when Russ on D-3 started clearing up foul time & line 4’s fast!
He came over answering someone on the radio “they are evacuating all high rises in Boston”
I was with the doughboy and we just looked at each other and “what did he say”?
It was not until much later we passed a track gang and found out what happened.
Never saw video until 4 pm-ish at the hotel.
What was even wilder was after 911 when they put red,yellow,green color system as a threat alert.
The night it 1st went up to Amber, with a load of nuke waste…hotter than hell!
Blue lights at every xing… and nothing in front of us!

The day before I drove back from LI and saw the towers as I headed north. A day later I was at work, planning some travel for sales, when one of my co-workers told me something had happened. No access to TV so we followed as best we could until I got home later. Calls came in from everywhere, people asking what other people knew about the situation, etc. I remember calling a few people to tell them that no way I'd be flying anywhere until things were figured out, then of course everything was grounded anyway.

Yes Denis, I agree. There was a feeling that we were all together then that is hard to imagine happening now.

Two Americans, in particular, failed to see the implications of their enforcement policy and inaction. Books have already disclosed who they are, and In the interest of decorum, only one title is listed here:

Dereliction of Duty

The second scoundrel not only caused critical details to be withheld from the captured laptop computer belonging to the "twentieth hijacker", but created the US' Housing Crisis of 2007!

It even gets worse than that.

Anyway, we're unlikely to be attacked again, as the numbers of people needed for such terrorist actions haven't presented themselves.
