I have the same dishwasher. Perfect for empty nesters and the occasional family get together. Quiet!

I went along with a Fisher Paykel washing machine and dryer. Comparable to the Speed Queen. All Fisher Paykel appliances have stainless steel drums/case while other manufactures use plastic.

That's funny because I had Fisher Paykel washer and dryer and had nothing but trouble with them.

There's a huge variation in the reviews of Fisher Paykel, which is why we steered clear of them as well.

We have a Fisher Paykel and love it....no serious problems so far.
Had to unplug it to reset once.

Same here...we had them at our mainland home...nothing but trouble...replaced them with Speed Queen...no comparison, not even close!

I wonder if it has something to do with the year. Ours are from 2004 and still going strong. Not to mention, actually using enough water to do a good job.

It very well could be. I had these quite a long time ago and things do change.
