Feel like flaming... try ignoring
During recent conversations with several forum members, I discovered that many members are unaware of a peace-making feature built into this forum. It's called "Ignore" and it can help relieve symptoms of high blood pressure.
Is there a member (or two) whose posts often cause you to gnash your teeth, wring your hands, utter expletives and give you the urge to smash your fist through the screen? If so, don't despair! Use the ignore feature! Simply click on the username of the person you wish to ignore. When their page appears, simply click on the space that says "add so-and-so to your ignore list". It's as simple as that! Thereafter, any posts made by that user will be invisible to you. If you click on a thread that they've posted to, you'll see that they have posted something, but their post will not appear on your screen. You can read the thread in peace, happy in the knowledge that you've followed your doctor's instructions by avoiding stressful situations! If, in the future, you find yourself simply dying to know what that user has been saying, you can simply click on their name again, and click on "remove so-and-so from your ignore list. Just one of the many fun and wonderful features of this wonderful forum!
