Its still pretty early, I would not write off the winter just yet. Not sure about a complete list, but an article from last winter had ice-in for 2023 as February 6th (the latest on record in the last 50 years that Emerson Aviation has tracked it). 2022 was January 18th.

Perhaps then we'll be able to save a few dollars on our electric bills (for bubblers use)to offset the Moultonborough Tax bill!

I totally agree with that. I always said it was the third week of Jan most years before the broads were also frozen. The bays freeze sooner of course.

This morning there was nothing all the way to Parker Marine. There is a skim in that little cove to the left of the bay accessed by the culvert under Rt 11 where all the colorful cottages are.
