Ice In

As of New Years Day I do not believe that there was any ice anywhere on Lake Winnipesaukee. I checked a couple of smaller bodies of water in the area that get early ice and both locations that I checked were more or less wide open water. I would venture to guess that some may have formed the last couple of cold nights in the usual locations that get ice first. If it did not those locations should get some ice in the next week.
