Our propane “woodstove” had that problem this past winter. Called Fire in Stone, whom we purchased it from (Regency Hampton model) and asked them about it and they wanted to be PAID IN ADVANCE for a service call a couple months out! BS!
We suspected that the thermocouple was bad so looking up on the internet we found a little trick to “rejuvenate” the thermocouple. A simple, light “sanding” of the tip of the unit with emery cloth did the trick! Stove lights up like a champ now! We also discovered that the it is very easy to take apart the front and remove the glass and screen to access the pilot and thermocouple. Just had to remove a couple of the “fake logs” that hide the unit. Fire in Stone wanted $300 in advance for this…🤪 and of course, they wouldn’t tell you what to do to fix it yourself… |

They will never see my business again and it’s too bad because they did a good job with the install…🤔
