I've just retired and will finally get around to cleaning out the crawl space under our camp. I know I've got some old scrap copper piping - maybe 20 - 40 feet of it. Old iron piping as well. An old well pressure tank (after I replace it this summer). An old bubbler. Other miscellaneous metal stuff.
Any recommendations on where to take this and get a few bucks for it? There seem to be quite a few scrap metal dealers nearby. One that has positive ratings is Gilpatric Metal Recycling in Bridgewater. Has anyone used them before? I'm in Meredith. Thanks. |

Last year we went to Harding Metals in Northwood with a few pounds of copper pipe removed from a bathroom and kitchen remodel. They were very friendly and easy to deal with even though we were a small customer. Would definitely go back in the future.

Being in Meredith, maybe try Hoyt’s Scrap Metal. It’s in a red? barn on the left, at the bottom of Jenness Hill Rd before the transfer station.
I’ve not scrapped anything with him, but have bought firewood. Nice guy and fairly priced. John Hoyt 677-6986
