Does anyone have a suggestion as to where can I find steamers (for cooking at home)? I’m on the east side of the lake.

They have been running around $5.99 to $6.99 per pound this summer. The one thing about Market Basket: Their products have very high turnover due to very high volumes. Freshness have never been an issue as far as I am concerned. |

The Lobster Connection on route 3 in Belmont right before mosquito bridge has great steamers!

Get them while you can. Once Blueberry season starts in Maine steamers & fryers are in low shortage.

Hannaford's has had them for $7.99.
I've been getting mine from Sal's Seafood at Moulton Farms. I think they were $8.99 at Sals. Very fresh and clean.

You’re right about “steamahs .” I’ve lived north of Boston for 65 years and I still can’t get it right!! As far as grabbing a rake, ah, nope. Far too much work. I’ll happily pay for someone else’s sweat!

From Maine/NH it’s “steamahs”. From Boston/NY/NJ it’s “steamizs”.
