I feel like I post this same thing every year: my father taught me that "your freedom ends at my nose."

The moment one's music is loud enough to interfere with other people's experiences, it's too loud.

I don't understand why that is a difficult, or polarizing, concept.

I like that a lot!!! Jet Skis have to be loud for them to hear, but the rest of us also have to hear it. At least with them, they go by and are gone. If people are anchored it could be all day.

If not, I wonder if a set of earbuds that are waterproof would be worth the local marinas marketing?

WEll, it would be nice for the people that don't care to listen to their music.

The funny thing is Rander is 100% right, ear buds solves everyone's issue! The person who wants to hear music can hear it as loud as they want and no one around them is affected...and heck these new ear buds sound way better than music off a boat hifi speakers anyway! Seems pretty simple to me...

I'll see if we can acquire some and stock them.
Maybe they will catch on.

So problem solved, as long as we can get them to wear them.

Ever notice the "music" is terminated when a "wake-setter boat" returns to their fallen surfer?
