Are you on the mainland? If you are at least being at the lake is almost as good as being on the lake. We're lucky that we have enough water at our dock on Bear but it would be a shame to have to close early. People on the east side of the island have really shallow water to deal with. We noticed several people have boats on moorings. Not sure if that's due to the water level or to protect from pounding from the Broads.

Yes, we are on the mainland and you are spot on...at least we can still be here and enjoy the water, albeit not on a boat.
