Lake Winnipesaukee Drainage Overlook
Here is a picture of my favorite secret place. That is to say, pretty much only myself and a couple of hooligans go there. The hoodlums had to go and burn some fire pits through the beautiful green carpet. I patched up the fire pits by transplanting moss from the far edges of the rug. The transplanted moss stayed green and lived right through a drought, but no, the punks had to reburn the fire pits! (LOL, not LOL, what can ya do, it's 'murica)
Anyway, I just love the contrast between the snow and the green moss. Please note 1: My apologies to crackerjack photographers. My cell phone has a protective sheet over the camera and I upped the saturation to show the green a bit more. Please note 2: The moss carpet is about twice as large as shown Last edited by MRJS; 12-09-2024 at 04:37 PM. |
