Default Kerosene

Are there any gas stations in the Moultonborough, Center Harbor, Meredith area that sell kerosene? 603 used to sell it but the new Haffner's doesn't have the pump anymore.

What are you planning to do with the kerosene? Depending on use, you may be able to substitute diesel. Kero is a bit lighter than diesel, but in general it and diesel have similar properties.

The Mobil in Gilford across from Hannaford & Lowes had kerosene last winter. Pump had yellow handle.

Using it for an older Monitor Heater in my garage. Diesel is not recommended and they aren't making replacement parts for the Monitors anymore so I don't want to risk it. Thanks.

I don't know of any that will fill 5-gallon containers. 603 used to have a 500-gallon tank with a pump on it that was made to fill small containers.

Default My old lantern

This thread made me think...I have a Coleman lantern from the 50's that burns kerosene. Hasn't been used in years, but it's a great lantern. Anyway, I Googled "Kerosene for sale in NH" and got this:

Kerosene is available for sale in New Hampshire from a number of companies, including Harris Energy, White Mountain Oil & Propane, B&H Oil Company, Presby Energy, Buxton Oil, Ciardelli Fuel Company, and Atlantic Fuels.

Sunoco in Gilford/Laconia, next to the Union Diner.
We also use a Monitor in our garage.

Sorry, I didn't see this.
It is an MPI 422 with on-board kerosene tank.
Not sure, but I think it might be right around that rating.
