Excavator Through the Ice

I'm surprised I didn't see this posted here. Any idea why an excavator would be out there on the ice?

looks like that was behind the rail road tracks in the Paugus Bay campground area, I'm curious as to what that was doing out there as well

It could very well be at the campground cove but it's also possible it's near the entry culvert at Pickerel Cove, located closer to Lakeport.

Anyone have details?

Great job by the recovery crews!
