	 | Mill St Meat Market

What gives??….How come no one ever mentions this place? Are you Wolfeborites trying to keep this place for yourself? Can’t say that I blame you! All kidding aside….what a great place! We took a ride by boat today to go check it out and were wonderfully impressed both with service and their great meat and seafood offerings. It’s a very short walk from the docks (5 minutes) so we simply brought a soft sided cooler with a couple ice packs in it for the boat ride back. We filled it with some of their wonderful offerings like marinated steak tips, Italian sausage, marinated chicken wings, steaks, etc, etc. I must say that everything looked wonderful! So far we have only tried their wings and hot Italian sausage for lunch today and both were fantastic! I am most certain their steaks and tips which are all prime btw, will be excellent as well! The cat is out of the bag! Check out the Mill St Meat Market as I think you will be impressed! We will definitely be back! Dan PS, not sure how this ended up in the home, land, cottage, forum but if the webmaster wouldn’t mind putting it in the proper forum I would appreciate it!

Thank you. Good news. Always want to know about places to go by boat. If this means wings at the Tiki bar, it can go to the restaurant threads.

Damm, you found it. This is the only place I get tips to take home. Helps that it's a 15 minute ride.

Oh, and while you're there, try the Full Belli Deli for subs across the street.

Pro tip: if you are an “average” grill dude like me, get their steak tips and/or marinated chicken and throw them on. Your guests will think you deserve a food channel show. |

Yes, for us, too! The "Mill Street"-style marinated steak tips and chicken breasts are our go-dinners all summer long! We get their potato salad and Asian noodle salad to have on the side, plus a bunch of asparagus or another non-starchy veg, and dinner's done in just one stop. Staff are really nice too and there are always plenty of them.

We dropped by and got THICK pork chops that were the most tender and delicious I have ever had. We also got Sweet Italian sausage but haven't tried it yet. It's a bit of a drive for us, from Center Harbor, to make it a regular stop but we boat over for breakfast and lunch May - October and will plan to "stock up" when we are there. |

For example, we gave Ames Farm a try shortly after reading reviews about it here, but the fact that they're across the lake from us simply prevents us from continuing to go there consistently. That being said, there's a mom-and-pop butcher in Merrimack that was floundering. Once they posted that on the local Facebook forums, they started killing it. Given that the location, price, and quality works (and it was just the lack of awareness), it appears they will continue to thrive. That's a pretty cool story.
