Post Local Corn

This is slightly off topic but,

Does anyone know any local farm stand with local corn? We tried two farm stands and one had corn from Georgia (old and terrible) and another had corn from MA (almost as old and almost as terrible.)

Moulton Farms started bringing there's in last week. Smallish ears but I'm sure they were working hard to get what they could on sale ASAP. They'll get bigger in short order.

Seems to me to be a bit late this year.

Last week I had some from Almeida Farm, Rehoboth Mass. It was pretty good, but like most of you I'm spoiled with Fresh Local Corn. As kid we used to get to go out to our garden and pick our for dinner. Like picking your lobster in Maine

Default Local (?) corn

We get it at Ari's produce truck on Rt. 16 in Wakefield. There's also a nice farmstand diagonally across the same intersection.

I thought most grocery stores got local corn when in season—some even have signs indicating from which farm they get it.

Either way, we've gotten corn from Market Basket in Tilton and Plymouth and Hannaford in Meredith, and it's all been excellent.

Post Moulton Farms

Moulton Farms now has their own corn. We picked some up on Thursday and it was very good. My wife dropped by to get more today.
