I had an addition planned to start mid Oct (Wolfeboro) and an old friend who lives some distance away was going to bring his crew here for a month to handle it for me. Sudden medical issue for him means he can no longer do it. Any framing crews out there that can take a job on short notice? Pretty simple plan. 2 1/2 story 20 x 20 addition with a 4 way hip roof.

Agreed! This post is a hail Mary but I figured why not try. Most guys are booked into next Oct forget about Oct '25. Thought maybe I could catch someone who had a job cancel or maybe between jobs. Not looking for any finish. Would be happy to find someone to Just frame the box, floors, sheathing and frame the roof. Probably less than a month for a good crew.

years ago in Massachusetts we would contact the teachers at the local vocational school for students in the trades to get real-life experience on jobsites for homeowners willing to "take the risk" of letting novices work on their project. Don't know if that's a thing anymore, or if there are any vocational schools in the area any longer.. but maybe a possibility?

T Square just finished a 26 x 26 garage for me. Highly recommend them and I'm very picky with contractors. Brendan and Tom are highly professional and the price was inline or better than others I spoke with. Call them and see if they can do something next month.
