Default Stumbled on a delicious dinner!

My husband had to run down to the Harley dealer in Rochester, and we had the most delicious dinner in downtown Rochester at the Scenic Lounge. We started with the Mayan Tuna Stack and a chicken Caesar salad. My hubby has a big appetite! Good thing because the salad was huge. For dinner, he had the Smothered Chicken. Fantastic! It was a spin on chicken cordon bleu with the ham and the cheese, but so much better. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The brussel sprouts were perfect.

I buried the lead here - I had the Braised Beef Short Rib. It's the standard dish I order whenever it's on the menu. This is the dish that all others will now be judged against. It's the best I've ever had. And I'm old. And we eat out a LOT.

We live in Alton. I didn't realize that downtown Rochester is the same distance from home as Center Harbor. We had a late lunch today at Gusto's - very different and also delicious

The cocktail menu at the Scenic Lounge looked pretty darn good too, even though we stick to mocktails these days. We were stuffed after dinner, but I'm leaving room for the salted carmal crunch cake when we go back next week.

Why is it called the Scenic Lounge, what does it overlook that is scenic?
