Default visitor for breakfast...

Great question. The answer is, "Who is going to tell Bullwinkle he can't come to breakfast?" (not me!)

Speaking about the observed moose eating breakfast:

Mike Haddad is the WMUR Channel 9 weeknight weatherman. Anyone ever listen to his broadcasts and notice he sounds exactly like "Bullwinkle" the moose?

Now, who sounds like Rocky the squirrel? Is it hard to remember back into the 1960's.....?

Actually he was not there for breakfast, that being the last thing on his mind mid October.

Mike Haddad has a "distinctive" voice for sure... How about Al Kaprielian who is or was on Channel 50? Who else remembers him and his signature "high pressure!" squeal?

Al K. was indeed a very unique weatherman who broadcast out of Derry, NH from 1983 until 2009.

Not sure what he is doing now but he is currently 64 years old and was born in Natick, Massachusetts.

I am glad that others agree that Mike Haddad does sound exactly like Rocky the Bullwinkle.

Good EEEEEVENING!

Al currently lives in Merrimack—I see him around from time to time.

A friend of mine worked closely with Al for a while and said he was among the most accurate meteorologists he ever worked with—that Al had a unique approach/gift for interpreting models.

I can't confirm that as I didn't pay much attention to the weather then, but I've heard it said a few times throughout the years.

Either way, an interesting man!

Al is still around and last he told me he was doing the WCAP weather in the AM out of Lowell. Great guy and loves talking about weather.
