Per the scanner, at least 6 people injured, one was unconscious and trapped for a while. Tried to get Dart but they were not flying because of the squalls in the area and unable to get any other med flights. After that, they didn't say much.

I have a friend in Patrician Shores neighborhood who said he heard a loud crash sound...said his whole house shook. He went outside to see what was going on and heard people screaming and then the police and fire showed up. He then heard second-hand this morning that it was a head-on accident as the road bends in that section of Rte 25...allegedly someone went in the opposite lane to pass the car in front of them and hit the oncoming car coming around that bend head-on.

Again, aside from the first-hand account of the large crash sound, the rest of the above is all second-hand info and could be inaccurate.

Possible. Some people want to go fast, and if the vehicle in front is near or below the speed limit, well.

Arrow N.H. state legislature needs to make the road more safe!

In 2026 I'd like to see the N.H. state legislature pass an automobile driver's license requirement that requires you swim a quarter mile, 440-yards, one straight swim out across the deep water, somewhere difficult on Lake Winnipesaukee in order to drive a car, here in New Hampshire! .......

Sounds like a recipe for lake rage.

Question Good swimmers make for good safe drivers!

Alternating between the breast stroke and side stroke makes swimming a big lake quarter mile much more doable than trying to swim it overhand crawl, which makes you tired and out of breath.

Very little info available on this Friday 6:15-pm, Nov 28, 2025 ..... http://www.wmur.com/article/nh-mered...12925/69582306 .... Route 25, Meredith NH collision close to Center Harbor as of today, Sunday afternoon?

Thoughts and prayers extended to the injured and all involved ...... .

Exclamation Friday, Nov 28, 6:16pm: Rt 25, Meredith, just east Leavitt Park Rd, close to Ctr Hbr

The Monday, December 1 Laconia Daily Sun has a report with a lot more information ....... "2 injured in 3-car crash, police investigating road rage".

The vehicles involved were a 2019 Ford Super Duty pick-up, a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer compact sedan, and a 2020 Toyota Tundra pick-up. Can you guess which one is suspect on road rage?

The Meredith Police ....... "We urge anyone who witnessed this to give us a call" ..... at 279-4561.

I guessed right. And I have a pickup truck! But there are stereotypes about drivers of some car brands (Beemer 3, etc) and they exist because of repetitions. Fatlazyless posed the question about which vehicle, because we all know some of these dudes in massive pickup trucks drive super-aggressively, or modify the exhaust and unnecessarily damage people's hearing and also blow that black smoke out when they hit the gas. I'm not saying this was one of those drivers. But again, it's on some people's minds because of repetitions. Because of repetitions. Because of repetitions.

Thankful the injuries were not serious among the innocent victims here.

Overall I am surprised there aren't more accidents on that stretch of road. I really hope it wasn't any type of road rage..... The biggest problem in that are is how fast people try and drive through there.... myself included at times...

Overall it doesn't sound as bad as it could have been but bad enough... I hope all injuries heal quickly.

The mother of one of my classmates was killed in a head on crash on that corner in the early 70s. Right after that the big sign with the flashing yellow light was put up. I think that light was taken down not long ago though.
