A neighbor advised my dock is locked in ice with no circulator operating.
![]() I called Winnipesaukee Aquatherm, the three-person business that keeps the lake's circulators operating. Their voicemail was full. ![]() They're on FaceBook and have a website. How should I proceed?

Pretty sure they stopped installing and servicing circulators abut 3-4 years ago.

I stopped using them this year when I got no response on phone or email when my circulator stopped working last winter. They did show up in spring to remove it though.

Is the electric power plug properly plugged in? Maybe a pissed-off neighbor pulled the plug on you? Maybe a deer walked into the power line and yanked the plug out?
Is usually something easy-peasy like a gfi 110-v outlet that tripped and you simply depress the small red rectangular button. Try bypassing the time/temp control box. When there's no easy quick fix, go slice open the ice above the circulator using a chainsaw, and look down to see if the propeller got tangled with a line, the power cord, or a stray piece of debris or something. Next step, haul the 40-lb circulator up and out to inspect the small blue propeller which sometimes will break, and is an easy replace. Must be someone, somewhere in Tuftonboro/Wolfeboro who is good with ice circulators? Who you gonna call? Maybe call the local hardware store and ask them who is good with this?

No they are still in business and handle our circulators. They do seem to have communication issues. I email them directly for best communication. They did show up very late this year to get the aquatherms going. I actually had to email them and inquire as to when they were coming.

FLL it is, indeed, the GFI power outlet supplying their extension cord. It appears that long use has caused the connection to go dead.
![]() However, a new outlet was (only coincidentally) installed last summer. I'd left a message at their FB site, but had hoped someone here knew them well enough to alert them in person. ![]() Two years ago. I got to meet the Winnipesaukee Aquatherm boss, but only because a check I'd mailed them got lost!

Aquatherm's boss got out there promptly, sent pictures showing ice was far from the circulator, which was still running on a different
(but previously unreliable) outlet. Apparently, messaging got through. ![]() With the recently-installed outlet, I don’t expect this to happen again. I've been a loyal Aquatherm customer since 1994.
