Great Picture!

She is a beauty! Already has that Golden, Lab habit of sitting on one hip!

I haven't taken any dog's for a ride in my my new pontoon boat? Can I stop by and pick your puppy up? The puppy is so cute I may forget to bring her/him back. What is the puppy's name?

Hi G.B.G.!

We named her Hailey and your welcome to stop by anytime to see her! She really enjoys riding in the boat and didn't mind a bit when I woke her up at 5:00 A.M. to go fishing! She is my new fishing buddy!

Default Hailey

14 years ago to the day today, I started this thread and posted a pic of my beautiful new pup and best friend to be Hailey….

Today was her last day on this earth and we will miss her dearly. She was the Queen of Welch Island for 14+ years and had one hell of a life!

While we have holes in our hearts, the many memories of her wonderful personality and great times we had together will remain with us forever…

RIP Hailey girl, you will be missed…

Dan

So sorry to hear, Dan—the absolute worst thing about getting a dog is knowing we'll outlive it.

Sounds like Hailey was the bestest girl.

What pup wouldn't love to live on an island, surrounded by water, wildlife, boats, fishing and lots of friendly people. You gave her all of that and she returned the favor by filling your hearts. God bless.

Very sorry for your loss. Our dogs are our best friends, and the memories do make it somewhat easier. RIP Hailey

I remember meeting her at the Glendale docks when she was a puppy. She was still the same sweet doll when we saw her at your house this winter.

So sorry Dan!

So sad to hear this….always brings to mind Billy Joel’s “Piano Man”……”Even after 20 years he still grieves”. Referring to his dog.

I still remember and grieve all of mine.

Sorry to hear! I remember her at that puppy stage when we brought our girl Deja over one time and they were playing in the water. We lost Deja a couple years ago and it's still hard. You gave Hailey an incredible life.
