I read somewhere this morning that recently the eagle count for the state was at 40.

That relatively high number may account for me not leaping for my camera just a few minutes ago. At that moment, I saw a juvenile Bald Eagle darken my picture windows—again.

A minute later, he flew out about ˝-mile to check on something on the water—and a seagull chased the poor youngster away!

What a picture I just missed!
