Hard to tell... I'll guess 6 inches with a lot of drifting. Some areas blown clear. Some areas with 18 inch drifts. Winds gusting to 40 mph from the NE, temp at 18, snow still falling heavily with another 6 or more inches on the way.
There will undoubtedly be a lot of us posting snow totals and other storm info on the "Winni Weather - Spring 2007" thread. |

We are about 200 ft above lake level, and just under a half mile off the lake heading up the mountain, and we got about 9-10 inches measured in several different spots, some sheltered, others not so sheltered. My old reliable "top of the outside located oil tank and fairly reliable snow depth guage / squirrel perch where they can see what our cats are doing combination unit" also showed 9-10 inches. Strange snow...seemed to be very fine while it was coming down, temps were in the very high teens and low twenty's, but the snow is heavy, heavy, did I mention heavy!
![]() Got plowed out, cleaned up what the plow guy can't get, shoveled off the flat roof on the back of the house, and now I'm ready to tear into the rest of the day... ![]() ![]() ![]()

about 12-15 inches in Alton, south of the traffic circle. The top layer crusty, the rest packed but on the fluffy side.
