Could the high cost of fuel be what pushes the boating industry into a recession? I have been observing this industry for only 10 years, and have been wondering at what point would boating become too expensive for the average person.
The high cost of renting a slip forced me out of boat ownership three years ago. The high fuel costs after huricane Katrina forced me out of occasional trips to the lake in a friend's boat; it is just TOO expensive. I will be doing my boating in a small sailboat. The wind is still free! ![]() Last edited by Steve Di.; 05-05-2007 at 06:21 PM. |
