Identity of lake location in old photo

Can anyone provide the identity of the Winnipesaukee location depicted in the two photos below (circa 1929)? I apologize for the poor quality, but I think there is enough detail for an accurate identification. Thanks in advance for your help.

Looks like the small island at the entrance to Greens Basin in Moultonboro. At the top of Hansons cove.

I think you are correct, Dave 35, and, considering the year (circa 1929) it is entirely possible that my family owned that island at that time. My family owned and operated Camp Wyanoke down in Winter Harbor, and we used to own an island in Greens Basin about that time period. We called the island in question "Wyanisle", a combination of WYANoke ISLand. Campers and staff would paddle from Winter Harbor to the island, sometimes spending the night in Melvin Village, spend a few days, and paddle back. With a good early start, and the prevailing wind to their backs, the group could usually make it home in one long day. The picture shows camp-age boys enjoying themselves, so I feel like it could be "our island". Thanks to 'fmgate' for the post.

I agree - shown on the charts as a rock right off the end of Gilbert Point just east of Hanson Cove and Green's Basin.

The cottage in the photo is at the end of Toltec point between Raoul's and Hanson Coves. The rock out front was called Tea Rock, great spot for the kids to jump into the water, though the last few years we have found and picked up dog leftovers and broken glass. I believe if I remember correct it was built by the Greene's (same as the Windermere Greene's) around the turn of 1900's. I'll enclose a photo but because of the distance the rock is to the left and the ledge the house sits on is to the right but Blanchard Island in the distance makes them look like they are all connected. They are not in Greene's Basin though. They are prior to that and Badger Island and Stanyon Point. Not as far north as the basin.

Last summer friends brought me out cruising on the big lake. I have no idea where I was but I think this may be the same house? August 2006 somewhere in Moultonboro.....

swam from that rock many a time. Great place to go snorkling or to water ski from.
