Did Sheps force that nozzle into your fill tube? Pretty simple.Don't buy it.

Default Monthly gas thread?

Maybe we should post a new "Gas Thread" each month with current prices. Something like "Gas August '07" or "Feel the pain August '07."

While you are 100% right, I still don't think it's fair that the price be placed on the people for their mistake. While they have the right to do that, it's still a bit rediculous.

I'm still going to use Sheps, for example it was at 3.39 today.

I did a double take while going by Lakeport on Sat. I was amazed to see $2.97. I filled up on the way back in. Irwin was some 30 cents more. The kid working the pump at Lakeport said that they like to reward their customers for taking the huge risk of going under the railroad bridge (tongue in cheek)

Default Fay's still at $3.50...

... yesterday with two boats on the dock, and two more waiting in line. I don't think the price has changed since May. Then again, there's something to be said for predictability in the gas budget

LOL. I predict your wallet will be lighter than need be, but we do pay for convenience.

Paid 2.89 at Lakeport on Saturday. At that price I would rather drive my boat on Winnipesaukee all day long than fill my car in Connecticut.

Was there filling up on Saturday they were $2.93 at about 3pm and the girl said they weer going up to $3 in a couple of hours.

Why is that how come they can switch it any time they want. Not blaming Lakeport specifically just want to know over all on all gas stations road and marine.

is it they look at the weekly total see they did not make enough to cover next shipment or to turn a good profit so they adjust mid day or whatever, or is it because they called and had to order more gas at a higher rate which in turn goes to how come the gas companies can adjust when ever the feel the need to and make Billions in profits I.E. Exxon.

Default Gas Prices

it is time once again to get the gas prices for around the lake.

Have to top off before I put the boat into storage and I need about 3/4 of a tank, I was going to drain her out this year so that is why I was so low but I changed my mind
