Default Looks to be busy this weekend?

I just got my Alton Bay fix with a view of the public docks from the realtor webcam (http://www.spencerhughes.com/altoncam/). I see quite a few boats and even a few people there today.

Is it busy up there this weekend? Have the trees started to turn? I can't quite tell from the webcam.

Missing NH ,

Not that busy. Had some wind and waves this morning but calming now. Some maple trees have turned, but most are waiting for October. Not sorry to say, but I am not missing NJ(Fort Dix).

I agree with chase, very quiet this weekend yet a wonderful day! The lake was rough though, maybe keeping a lot of boats at their dock. Very little color.

Wolfeboro Bay/Docks/Town was hopping this afternoon. Lots of boats and sail boats. Most dock spaces taken. Great day!

I lived near Fort Dix for 3 years and in NJ for 11 years, no picking on NJ, it is a fine place with a bad rap.

Lake wasn't too crowded. Got out early and it was windy and fairly rough. Bowrider was bouncing pretty good! Good day for a short cruise, then lunch and beverages at Shibley's in the sun.

We took lots of pics today. Very clear. Not many boats but each one was a wild ride on the waves. Lots of boats in the air. My favorite time of the year.

I'd say for this time of year the Weirs was "normal". I did notice a LOT of whitecaps yesterday along with several brave boats.

Default Not a Jersey Girl

I might live in NJ now (and have for nearly 21 years now), but I am a New England girl through and through. Grew up in southeastern Massachusetts, went to high school in Providence, college in western MA and law school in Boston. Summered every year (but one - 1973) in NH, the only place I really call home.

Got married to a Jersey boy who had a job while I didn't. So, ended up in NJ. My husband promised to return to MA if I wanted. I wanted, but we never did.

However, we are definitely going to make NH our home once my boys are out of school.

I guess you could say by screen name should be MA2NJ2NH!

Default Nice place to be from

Lived in Joisey all my life and it is nice place to be FROM!

When I left Alton Bay on 9/29 it was windy with lots of white caps. Last Wednesday we were in the water at the West Alton Sand Bar, weather was HOT and the lake felt good! Thursday not so hot unless working on winterizing the boat. Friday went for several last jetski rides and it was a bit choppy!

Back in NJ and missing the lake! Can't wait until February!
