Understood and agree. I also assume that most of the non responders are likely to disagree as well. My point is, I did not sense that our massive representative pool did not indicate that they had a problem hearing from us and in most cases appreciated hearing our input.

Representative government may not always result in what the majority of us want but we entrust them to spend the time to become familiar with the issue and make an informed decision that they think is best. Both sides hope they make the right decision. We should not be afraid to participate in the process.

I thank them for essentially volunteering their time to consider each and every issue. Perhaps one way or the other this could be the last time they have to consider this one.
