I completely agree. The ice may be good out in the middle, but it's just not worth becoming a statistic in late March. I made my last trip last Sunday from my Island to the mainland. I know what some of you will say, but Sebago and Winnipesaukee have many similarities. It was a very different jump/skimming experience from the morning to the afternoon at the edges. Large pieces will break off this time of year and you could be in big trouble. Don't let the deep snow fool you.
