Has anyone been by Lilly Pond to see if the ice is out? They tell me 10 days after Lilly goes out the big lake has ice-out. Thanks

Well there Texan, My wife and I drove by yesterday, and NO it is not out. It appeared the shoreline by the road is trying to break up, and around the light pilings, seems to be some thawing, but over all my guess would be another week. Hope this helps!

It was looking very iced in on Friday afternoon when I last went past that area.

I drive past Lily Pond daily, and my guess would be at least another week. The edges are slowly creeping back, but the center is still sadly rock solid.
![]() On a brighter note, the red-winged blackbirds showed up yesterday on the edges, hanging out in the reeds. So, there's hope.
