Does anyone know about the Sikorsky Autogiro (or is it autogyro) that landed in Laconia in the 1920s-30s? We have a photo of it. I'll try to add the photo soon for people to see.

Knowing what I do about aviation, it would have to be in the 1930's because the Sikorsky didn't get off the ground until the mid-1930's.
I'm curious to see your photo and look forward to seeing it. My dad worked at the airport during WWII - perhaps one of my brothers will know about it. |

Wll have to share this piece of history and picture with my son. He works for a division of Sikorsky, 'Keystone Helicopters', located in PA.
Keystone makes the custom private helicopters for the likes of 'Trump' type millionaires. They also make transports for the oil companies. Thanks. |
