Do you need reservations, or just show up and hope there's room? Is there a wood stove inside? How is the overall condition of the insides? How many bunks?

I assume you bring a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, food and a small stove. How were the mice, porcupines, black flies and mosquitos?

See that chain holding the cabin down? What, are they worried someone will steal the cabin, or something?

That chain is there to keep the cabin from blowing away. You can see them on all the cabins along the Appalachain trail in the White Mountains.
