Cruises are awesome been on two in the past four winters. Caribbean and the Bahamas but then again the winter time is their dry season. During two weeks of cruising we have run into 1/2 day of rain and that was in Florida catching the ship. I'd highly recommend them for anyone who hasn't been and is considering one. But wait till hurricane season is over, their cheaper this time of the year for a reason.

I've been on cruise ship cruises in the past, and not had any problem with the motion (the last one was on the Grand Princess, and you could hardly tell the darn thing was moving at all). This time, it's on a schooner called the Lewis R. French, and they don't do the coast of Maine in the winter (and neither would I )
