Have to try the quick link "mark forums read" but I will not know results until next week when back from the lake.
So without that, I like the old method as I am opening too many previously read threads now.

Let's go back to the old way. I tried to get used to it, but I guess I'm too old to adjust to the new way.

Seriously, it shows new threads and I read them already. I vote for # 1.
