Based on what you stated above, having plenty of past claims no matter what the outcome will drive your rates up. I have never made a homeowners claim, no boating claims and minimal car claims. As you are probably aware, insurance companies use a risk rating system similar to a credit score that is directly related to your tier.
Not having past claims, I really can't comment on who gives better service in times of need.
