a place to play pool (billards)?
DH & I love to play, but have no place for a pool table in our house.
Does anyone know of a nice bar/tavern that has decent pool tables? Thanks - any info is much appreciated! |

The Mug in Center Harbor (Rt. 3) has a couple of pool tables. They also have a fairly decent draft beer selection, large selection of bottled beer, and a full bar.

Can't speak to the quality of the place, as I have never been in it, but there is a place called Shooters on Rt 3 over by the Mosquito Bridge. Passed by it last night at around 8:30, seemed to be quite a few people there.

Another one...
Stix in Meredith, just a bit further past the lights in Meredith on the right. I've never been, but I know they have a league.

Thanks!
Thank you Winnigirl83, chipj29, and angela4design! Once we get *completely* moved-in (ugh - not sure how long that's gonna take ), DH & I will have to give those places a try - hopefully we'll be able to submit some reviews.
Thanks again! |

Joe Green's in Wolfeboro has pool tables. You can take a nice boat ride over from Meredith and dock at the town docks in Wolfeboro. It is right there.

Funky Monkey
Funky Monkey will be moving shortly, only across the street to the former Goodfella's location. They're already renovating, and this is a larger space, I thnk. Hopefully they'll have more tables!
