Thanks, Waterbaby (and others) for the kind words about the photos. The camera is a Sony A-100 DSLR (digital single lens reflex) with an 18 - 200 mm zoom lens. It's my first digital SLR camera and I'm quite pleased with it.

P.S. Yes, the ride was a blast!

Anyone notice how seen from a distance up in the air, everything looks a lot better than while driving in a car. Yesterday's traffic had it backed up from the Meredith intersection all the way to Canoe in Center Harbor, maybe five miles. Difficult to appreciate the view, when stuck in traffic.

Thanks so much for the camera info, I'm considering upgrading from my point-and-shoot digital, and loved your pics!
