We were considering driving up to Wolfeboro for a few days and staying at the Lake Motel. They seem to be the only location that allows dogs. Any comments on this motel- good or bad. Is it better than the Allen-A? We only have the Allen-A to compare to from a trip about 10 years ago without dogs. The place seemed to have too 'cold' of a feeling for us. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Are they open? Used to be they were closed from mid October through April. But they have new owners - so maybe that has changed.
We have stayed there ourselves and had guests stay there, it was pleasant. |

Try Sunset Lodges in Tuftonboro. Only 5 miles from downtown Wolfeboro. They allow dogs

It's a pit. Used for "hooking "by a lot of the locals..... I think I'd rather board the animals and stay somewhere nicer....
