Default Jimmy did it

I enjoyed all the car-toons of sorts that are on this tread. However, I recall a few years ago at the boat ramp in Peggy Cove that a person launched an aluminum row boat with a small moter, was testing it out. Left his cadilac and trailer in the water, He did not put the car completly into park, left the car running and when he got back, his car he thought was gone. But his boat found it, and it landed on the roof. Yup, the car backed down by itself into the water and went under.

Default Where is Jimmy's driver

All puns aside, has anyone heard yet who the driver/owner is?

Well, I spoke with our intrepid police chief the other day. He tells me they found the guy - his name is Mark Cooper and he had his wife Sierra in the car with him. The story is rather intrigue-ing - a real classic!

Anyhow, according to the chief it sounds like he got to the ridgeline of the summit on Peggy's Cove and he was doing about 80 when a deer jumped out in front of him and he tried to dodge it but the deer was being chased by a lynx. The guy hit his breaks and skidded about five-hundred feet, right into the water. The guy had no clue he was right on the edge of the water.

Mark knew it would take a century to get the car out of the water and didn't want try to be a celebrity by pulling it out himself. He also knew his insurance company would get him a car of a better caliber if he claimed this accident. However, the insurance company is bound to see this charade!

Isn't this where we started ? I guess we didn't answer why a Jimmy so much as why it isn't some other SUV. Like a Mercedes ML-350 .... you don't see them in the water much. They get the Benz.

If this thread gets any longer, it might just start to get International attention.

Default Another tale of poor Jimmy . . .

(or waaaay too much time without power).

Jimmy was Endeavor(ing) to Impreza the Grand Marquis of Monte Carlo. Suddenly, a Galant Mustang Charger(ed) in front of him, speeding like a Rabbit, trying to Escape the Focus of a Fit Cougar. The ghostly Spectra of this Frontier Raider spooked poor Jimmy and caused him to Edge off of the Path(finder).

An Expedition to the Town & Country, on a Quest to Wrangle(r) the Raider back to the Frontier, failed to find the Rogue Outlander.

An Avalanche of publicity has caused poor Jimmy to Journey to Silverado or Aspen, without a Compass, to seek out a Sky Vue. Soon the Torrent will Passat and we will give Maxima Tribute to that great Patriot, Jimmy, for providing us all with such great entertainment!

Default Welcome to your new cottage.

Hello everyone,
I'm new on the forum. I'm also new on the lake and would you believe I bought my cottage in Peggy's Cove Estates! About 300 feet from the water. That is our dock next to the Jimmy in those pictures. I was there that day but I arrived just after it happened. It was my second time there. What a welcome ha?

I think my reaction would have been.. "Wow, look at that, there's a Jimmy in the H2. O, next to my dock. "

Smile Guiness Book of Records Announces

The new record for largest lure used in freshwater fishing goes to this guy who used the Jimmy Spinner. Unfortunately the fish caught with this new lure were crushed beyond recognition. Good news is the next bass fishing tournament from Ame’s will require the use of the Jimmy Spinner

Poor Uncle Cy, stuck here for this ice storm. Were he in Florida, Sidekick-back and relax, enjoying the warm weather. No, he wouldn't rub it in too much. That wouldn't be too Swift. Cy's the kind of guy who likes to Accentuate the positive in a Diplomatic manner.
