As a subscriber, each week i get first dibbs on tickets for next year.Yesterday when i got the invite for Jackson Browne, the first thought that entered my mind after reading the following:
"On 1996's Looking East, he addresses various aspects of personal growth and social struggle, and their interconnectedness in the world around him."

First thoughts were " he addresses various aspects of personal growth"

Oh really. And did that growth include some eduation or reflection on his history of being abusive to women. ???
His first wife committed suicide and his relationship with Darrell Hannah ended because of him regularly beating her up .
I am a musican and I do follow this stuff. I actually do like a half dozen of his songs and I enjoy playing them for a small crowd.I simply will not go ,knowing that in a small way,I am supporting him. I don't know if he has learned anything from his past actions.i don't know if he still beats "his woman" .But simply to ask the question scares the hell out of me.

I like a lot of his music. He's a very talented guy, but respecting him as a human being.....not so much. I once seen an interview where the person thanked him for writing/singing such spiritual music & Brown just tore the poor guy up. I mean he ripped him apart with sadistic pleasure. I knew then that this is one nasty individual.
