Default No surprise

Every time I saw the Mount up close last season I thought there weren't enough people on board to pay for the cost of the fuel. I commented to my wife several times that I was surprised that they hadn't reduced the number of trips each day. Like everything else the Mount is affected by the economy and reducing the number of daily trips is a far better outcome than stopping operations altogether. Can any of us imagine the Lake without the Mount? The Mount is one of the few majestic symbols of whats great about New Hampshire. We lost the Old Man a few years ago. Lets hope we don't lose the Mount too.
