When I drove by today, it did not appear to be anything except an abandoned restaurant. A sign on the fence indicated that it was "available" as was the business next door to the north.

They have divided the parcel in two. The parcel to the left (as viewed from the road) is the one that is being discussed for development of the Boat Club. The parcel to the right is for sale and that includes the current Burger King building. My understanding is that the footprint of the building can not be changed.

Look back in threads. It was always two parcels: one leasing from the other, making BK appear to be one parcel. Leases not extended and possibly family differences are the older reasons. Who knows now.

This forum has so much speculation, it's hard to believe anything!

Default Property

I heard it is under tenative agreement, the new potential owner wants to put an adult club known as Center Folds there. I understand he already has a few of these in MA and RI.

A "Gentleman's" Club with docking.... Now that would make for an interesting twist on the local bachelor parties. Maybe Church Landing could start a shuttle service for the guys on the night before their weddings.

Why do they call them a "gentlemen's club" when it's nothing that a real gentleman would do?

Talking Hmmm

A boat club and a strip club...it is nice to see that the area is improving.

Wonder whether they will borrow the Burger King slogan.

I would have to question the thinking of the planning board if they allow all this to happen.

BK,

What ever happened to your Chef Gordon Ramsey inside story regarding this same property?

I really hope that you are wrong with this one!

Who is Gordon Ramsey? I only know of a Ramsey Industries LLC, that was interested. They still may be but also there are these new interested parties.

#%$# *%...you don't know who Gordon Ramsey is? He's the most profane chef on TV.

Any News on this? Anything is better than the developing eyesore...
Someone buy it... Someone do something with it...
