fish at mills falls

saw hundreds of 4-5 inch fish swimming in the oufall from the flow at mills falls in meredith.what are they?

I went to look today they look like baby yellow perch, there were some adult yellow swimming around

Those are the Anchoives, Guiseppe's keeps them fresh!!!
