I would like to thank jmen24 for some well-thought-out advice. It is obvious you spent some time trying to help me with this situation.
The cabinets were removed by the new cabinet providers, I should have mentioned that, and I didn't. I will see if they will repair the walls, but, as you mentioned, they may not. Then that leaves me with the continued need for someone to repair them.

jmen24, if you are in this line of work, I wish I had started with you or someone with your ethics to begin with. Thank you for your help.
